Privacy
The tools on this site are built so that nothing about you as a person is collected. Each tool has its own Privacy tab describing exactly what it stores; this page covers what is common to all of them.
What the server sees in passing
Like every website, the server receives your IP address to deliver the page and to limit abuse. It is kept in memory for at most a minute for that purpose and is never written to the database. This brief processing rests on the legitimate interest of running a stable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
What may be stored anonymously
When a tool offers it and you leave the option switched on, the numbers you typed and the resulting figures are stored under a random code so the calculation can be reopened by link and counted in statistics. No name, account, address, cookie or device identifier is stored with it. Such records are anonymous data outside the scope of the GDPR (Recital 26).
What stays in your browser
Tools keep your inputs, settings and saved items in the browser's local storage. This is strictly necessary to provide the function you asked for and is therefore allowed without consent (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). Each tool offers a button to delete it.
Cookies and advertising
No cookies are set. If a tool shows advertising, ads load only after you allow them on that page, and its Privacy tab names the provider.
